Antarte opens new store in Leiria
Mário Rocha, CEO of Antarte, presented at the opening event of the new space, the first Portuguese furniture pieces designed by AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Antarte opened a new commercial space in Leiria. The new store represented an investment of 2.5 million euros. The more than 1000 square meters of the new point of sale allow for the display of Antarte's diverse furniture and decoration collections.

The building where the new store is located is the result of the conversion of an industrial infrastructure into an architectural project designed under the concept of timeless design, which is Antarte's trademark. The store is located on Rua do Alto Vieiro in Leiria, close to the A19 and A8 access roads.

The opening of the new store in Leiria is in line with the reinforcement of Antarte's strategy of establishing a presence in national district capitals. With the opening of another point of sale, the brand has a total of 13 stores, being present in Braga, Leça da Palmeira (Feng Shui and Rua Óscar Silva), Porto, Feira, Aveiro, Coimbra, Seixal, Alfragide, Lisbon, Vilamoura and in showroom at the brand's headquarters, in Rebordosa (Paredes).

The opening event featured a presentation by Jorge Gabriel. Among the guests were present the President of C. M. de Leiria, Dr. Gonçalo Lopes, and several public figures such as actresses Rita Pereira and Catarina Gouveia. Rita Pereira highlighted that 'we grew up together: me and Antarte. Today I am here on a personal and non-professional basis. It's really out of love. I'm part of this family'. Catarina Gouveia also shares that 'it is an honor to feel that I am part of the Antarte family. A reference brand in Portugal, which represents durability and quality in its pieces. An Antarte house is distinguished mainly by the invitation it makes us to stay and enjoy the true meaning of a Home.'
Mário Rocha, founder and CEO of Antarte, concludes that «the new store in a district capital with the economic importance of Leiria was essential to reinforce the brand's presence in the center of the country and have greater proximity to one of the most dynamic urban centers in Portugal.»

This event had a special premiere: the exclusive presentation of Antarte pieces created using AI (Artificial Intelligence). These are the first Portuguese pieces of furniture created by AI, an innovation that reinforces Antarte's positioning as a brand at the forefront of furniture made in Portugal. Respecting the briefs from the creative director and the Antarte brand, AI was asked to create several pieces of furniture aligned with the timeless design that, over 25 years ago, became the trademark. The end result is a set of essential pieces in a living room, such as two armchairs and a TV stand.
Mário Rocha highlights that 'the AI ??was given freedom to create the design of the furniture, something that represents an innovative character. We were bold in asking the AI ??to design a set of furniture pieces. The creations proposed by the AI ??had detail touches in order to simplify their transition to the manufacturing phase. These are products of excellent aesthetic quality and that combine the use of artificial and human intelligence. Antarte has once again demonstrated that it is a brand at the forefront of the Made in Portugal furniture sector.'
