Antarte opens the first concept store inspired by Feng Shui in Leça da Palmeira

Not even the pandemic stopped Antarte, which used this time to redefine strategies. With an online growth of around 300%, a new store was opened in June in Santa Maria da Feira and now, at the end of July, a concept store inspired by the ancient philosophy.

The Portuguese furniture company Antarte has just opened a new store in Leça da Palmeira. This new space, which joins another existing Antarte store in this area, comes with an innovative concept in Portugal, completely dedicated to the oriental philosophy of Feng Shui.

With 750m2 divided over two floors, the new store will be the only one with this concept, distinguishing itself for the creation of design and decoration projects inspired by the principles of the Feng Shui philosophy and which is based on the harmonization of spaces and environments around us, in a way to allow the free flow of energy.

For Zita Rocha, mentor and creator of this new Antarte concept, «Feng Shui is an ancient art, therefore, what is innovative about this store is our approach and mission: those who visit us can rely on the availability of specialized professionals to create projects of design and interior decoration that not only respect this philosophy but integrate it from the very beginning.»

In addition to the expertise of the professionals who will be in the store, the entire space is also designed and decorated in accordance with this philosophy.

Zita Rocha really believes that the bet on this new concept came at the right time. For the businesswoman, Feng Shui is a way of creating homes tailored to each person and without obstacles that interfere with our energies. «At a time when we are living under a very high level of stress, and particularly in these last few months, people are realizing the importance and privilege of living in a house with a harmonious and peaceful environment. Incidentally, this interest has already been reflected in our customers' requests, which leads me to believe that this project came at the right time », she adds.

This new space in Leça da Palmeira was the second store to open of the 5 that are planned by the end of 2020. In July, the Santa Maria da Feira store opened, followed by this Feng Shui concept store, which opened in early August , on Rua Veloso Salgado, in Leça da Palmeira.

It is important to note that Antarte has faced these pandemic times in a very positive way, having even registered an increase in online billing by 300% when compared to the same period of the previous year, not resorting to the lay-off and taking advantage of the confinement to adjust your business strategies.

Despite the difficulties, this was a phase in which it was essential to listen and understand the needs of the market, which proved to be an effective path for the Portuguese brand.
