Antarte decorates the new wing of the Caléway Hotel
With a privileged view over the Douro River and the city of Porto, the hotel is the result of a project to convert a vintage building, to which a contemporary extension was added.
Antarte was invited to decorate the new wing of the Caléway Hotel, a four-star hotel located on the Vila Nova Gaia waterfront, in the heart of the world-famous Port Wine Cellars. With a privileged view over the Douro River and the city of Porto, the hotel is the result of a project to convert a vintage building, to which a contemporary extension was added, in a bold and unique architectural project that resulted in an incredible and surprising hotel of charm.
Responding to the challenge of providing unforgettable experiences and memorable stays launched by the Caléway Hotel, Antarte's 'Contract' department developed an interior decoration project that privileged the fluidity of environments, comfort and elegance, betting on a line of contemporary design, functional and, at the same time, welcoming.
In addition to being spacious, the rooms benefit from the natural light that radiates from the hotel's private garden, considered a true sanctuary of tranquility. Antarte took advantage of these characteristics and opted for a layout and a collection of furniture that extends the serenity experienced outdoors indoors. Thus, the choice fell on the Oslo line, a collection designed to create environments that inspire calm and peace and stimulate the perfect balance between the practical side of life and the experiences that are built every day. And that is how the straight and simple lines of the Oslo furniture, designed with natural wood, now inhabit the new wing of the Caléway Hotel, giving the hotel the personality and comfort that people usually miss when they are away from home.
The entire decoration project was designed to add value and provide guests with comfort and sophistication. The furniture was arranged in such a way as to benefit the integration of environments and facilitate circulation in the place, in a mix between the simple and the refined to make the environment charming, functional and exclusive and provide a unique and charismatic experience. The idea is above all to surprise and to invite you to live unforgettable moments, surprising through the details and quality that Antarte imprints on each decoration project.
